FOOD DON’T LIE is a cooking blog.

There’s no thematic undercurrent to this blog other than one of my New Years resolutions for 2015 was to begin to document my cooking. I’m intrigued by a variety of cuisines and techniques but my attention is happily split between a marriage, a job, a social life and enjoying New York City. When time allows I’ll post something here.

I like to cook because it’s creating something out of nothing, it’s a skill that builds on itself, and a meal is a wonderful way to bring loved ones together.

DAN is the writer, cook and husband. By day he’s a tech nerd. He doesn’t know exactly when he started to care about cooking but he’s become more serious about it over the last couple years. His guilty pleasure has become buying cookbooks that he doesn’t completely finish. He doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth and doesn’t like chocolate.

EUNICE is the photographer, baker, impartial taster and wife. She’s happy to trade the kitchen for maintaining the rest of the apartment. She could drink a boba every day for the rest of her life, and still doesn’t understand how it’s possible for someone to dislike chocolate.
